PINN welcomes place-based funding and investing collaborations, which will focus on the creation of strategies designed to leverage more than 42.5 billion dollars in public funding, which is being allocated to help achieve digital equity, and the 2 billion dollars in Inflation Reduction Act funds intended to support environmental and climate justice.

The process works to advance digital equity and environmental justice by eliminating local news deserts and closing the digital divide. PINN recognizes that diversity is a central community asset, intergenerational collaboration is a vital resource and equity and inclusion are catalysts for change.
The strategies can support the global deployment of fiber to the home and other high-capacity broadband solutions. Fiber initiatives are now advancing throughout the world under the leadership of the FTTH Council Global Alliance.
