Public Interest News Network (PINN) works to help achieve digital equity, environmental justice and other societal imperatives. We are developing core funding strategies to leverage more than 42.5 billion dollars in public funding being allocated to help achieve digital equity. The plan is based on a recognition that diversity is a central community asset, intergenerational collaboration is a vital resource and digital equity and inclusion are catalysts for change. Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Program | BroadbandUSA
PINN will align with the digital equity plans in each state and work to eliminate local news deserts, accelerate high-capacity broadband expansion, advance digital literacy and consequently assist in closing the digital divide. We strive to have a positive impact on the health, wealth and wellness of all generations as we make aging better for everyone.
PINN supports the deployment of high-capacity broadband solutions, including Fiber to the Home initiatives, which are now advancing under the leadership of the Fiber Broadband Association. https://fiberbroadband.org/ and the FFTH Councils Global Alliance, which leads the worldwide deployment enterprise.
