Public Interest News Network harnesses the collaborative and entrepreneurial power of the pen to advance community resilience, engagement and reinvestment through data journalism and solutions storytelling. The process is designed to stimulate bipartisan public policy discourse and help policymakers and the public to understand the collective capacities and capabilities of the national public library system and the nonprofit sector to deliver essential social services. 

Our strategic alliance with the Local News Network and its growing coalition of media partners enables community development collaboratives to identify diverse societal problems and help to create robust large-scale solutions. Bipartisan leaders can conduct research, fund pilot programs, test policy effectiveness and consequently mobilize support for policy change.
